Initially we wanted to go to the Empire State Building. However, after seeing the long queue, we diverted to the famous Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, New York.
It took us almost an hour to queue for our turn to reach to the top of the Rockefeller Center Top of the Rock Observation Deck. The elevator that brought us to the top only took seconds to reach. It is one of the fastest elevators I have set my foot on.
At the observation deck, the view was magnificent. For those who are afraid of height, the observation deck is safely covered by thick glass wall. There is no chance someone could fall off from the observation deck.
The Empire State Building is hidden by the other tall buildings.
It was cold on that April, I was shivering even with my jacket on.

How to go to Rockefeller Center Top of the Rock Observation Deck:
Most daily tours include either Rockefeller Center or Empire State Building.
