USSR Restaurant @ Harbour Park, Langkawi

13 November 2008 3 Comments

I never had Russian food before… Like many other curious eaters, we gave it a try….

It was really nice and cozy at Harbour Park at night in Langkawi…. Dining there will be nothing more to ask for…

Not just the name is Russian, there’s a lot of Russians there as well…
Please do ask the English menu, they do have one big copy of Russian menu…

By the way its very Russian inside the restaurant…

This salmon salad platter…. its really damn worth it and tasty as well… Its called Zakuson!

I think this is seafood salad…

Solyanka…. A must try soup…

Their “different” mushroom soup…

A very unique lamb dish… Kaurdak!

Vege…
Potato salad….
This chicken dish is not bad but chicken a bit overcooked, otherwise its very good…
This is called Yaroslavna

Sorry for unable to name all the dishes as most of it in Russian and it was my mistake not take the picture of the menu…. Basically 4 of us spend less than RM 200 without wine. All of the dishes are good and I will go back again for the other dishes that we didn’t manage to try.

I would say good food, affordable price. Great location and good service.

I’m from the United States. On my last trip to Malaysia I ate here with my girlfriend. It was wonderful! Absolutely delicious from the appetizer to desert. Very attractive presentation of dishes as well. I’ll go back there the next time I’m in Langkawi.
