Chan: u might be surprised if i told you, i took it with my small camera instead of my DSLR. It wasn't a plan trip. Probably you might be right with the different cook. Sometimes I do have experiences like yours.

My husband and I went today for Hokkien mee and Cantonese Fried Noodle..it was sad to say it smell a'lil burn and dry to us esp Hokkien mee...and it didnt look quite like the picture shown above..My guess is that the cook is different...it was pricey for the Hokkien Noodle cost RM6 (small). I guess it is the rate goin for a tourist market...Cantonese Noodle was just average and honestly...nothing to shout about...and the lady that served us was rather rude. Overall I'll say it's over-rated and commercialized

My family have been patrons of this place for the longest time... they serve the best hokkien mee and until today, there are very few who can match this restaurant in taste... there is also another one nearby... along kota raya, in a lorong somewhere... the food there is wicked as well
