Everyone knows the Taman Connaught stretch in Cheras is famous for their dim sum but I found another place. It’s located in Taman Yulek (same row with the post office). It’s not a new place and it’s quite popular also. Place is called Restoran Mexim Cheras, it has been there for quite some time.

Packed as usual, a casual and usual spot for the residents around. The last time I was there was years back.

In general, the dim sum was fresh and decent. This explains the usual crowd in the restaurant. Place is not air conditioned and the service was okay. Parking might be a slight issue here but sometimes you might get lucky. Pricing is quite reasonable, ranging from RM 2.00.

Well, if you are around Taman Yulek, Cheras and you got the craving for dim sum, this could be the place. Reasonably good.

SW, is their dimsum still good? I had 2 friends who went there recently n thought that their standard has dropped… used to be one of my fav dimsum place. I adore their yue-mai n har-gau. Go try ES. Its good !! =)
