*NON-HALAL*

My parents brought us for dim sum a few weeks ago. It has been a while since we had dim sum with my parents. He told us about he loved the food at this restaurant, Restoran Gu Yue Tien. It’s located at Chulan Square, exactly opposite of the Pavilion shopping mall.

The restaurant opened late, around 11 am on a lovely Sunday morning. We were the first customers of the day.

wall

Place was Chinese oriented decorated. They won a few awards and they had pictures of celebrities such as Jackie Chan and Datuk Michelle Yeoh.

prawn

We waited no more and started with prawn dumplings. The filling was fresh and the skin was thin, it was good.

vege dumpling

Vegetable dumpling was decent also.

wo tip

The wo tip…

lor mai kai

Lor mai kai was good. Nicely done.

fish ball

Fish ball was ordinary though.

egg

Egg tarts were decent. Tasted better.

Decent slightly above average. Price was reasonable because of promotion, otherwise slightly high. Thanks for correcting me, J2kfm.
