Lunch By The Park at Chinoz On The Park, KLCC
It took me a while thinking whether to post it up. I have nothing against it. The place itself is popular, should I blog about it? Well, I did now, after months since this happened. Chinoz On The Park located in KLCC at the main entrance facing the the KLCC park. The lunch was a good and short one. While sitting inside overlook the beautiful park, the service was outstandingly good.
I ordered a lunch menu set, rightfully priced at such prime location.

Lunch started with the carrot and pumpkin soup. The light orange soup was nicely done, a good start.

My friend, Kok Siong oreder the courgette rissotto with salmon. I took a scoop of it. The rissotto was decent, overshadowed by the tasty smoked salmon. Portion was slightly small.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich together with caraway rye bread, steak fries and mesclun salad. The roast beef was slightly dry but the portion was generous for this. At the end of the day, I couldn’t finish this (as usual).Overall, it was decent.

Lastly, it ended with Vanilla pannacotta with blackberry coulis. This was very nice, smooth and addictive.

I’m not sure they are running this promo now but this was what we ordered.

had a company farewell lunch there before and i felt it was just too pricy and the price doesn’t reflect of the quality of the food. i ordered a seafood chowder with wine and the soup was just overwhelmed with wine taste. the food presentation was not that great too.
overall, i wasn’t satisfied with the food at this restaurant. i expected the quality to be better though i don’t mind the price.

renaye, it seems to me you are contradicting yourself : ” …..I felt it was just too pricy ..” then later ” …I don’t mind the price.” Duh!
