Friendster Launch with Karen Kong and Namewee at Mol Cafe, Berjaya Times Square

The news came like tsunami, MOL Malaysia bought Friendster. When I read it online,  I almost fell off my chair. The deal said worth USD 100 million, Berjaya now fully owns Friendster.

Another global brand under Malaysian company. Its a big kudos to Malaysia. With Friendster under their wings, there will be more to come from Friendster.

The event happened in Mol Cafe, Level 9, Berjaya Times Square. It’s a huge internet cafe, a perfect place to announce the relaunch of Friendster.

xxx, Richard Augustin of Newman, Stephen and me.. We had fun… :)

The VIPs of the night and Karen Kong, our local songstress receiving her award recognizing her influence in Friendster.

One more VIP that I shouldn’t miss was Namewee. He was pretty quiet. I spoke to him quite a bit. Told him how I love his “Fuck TNB video” and so on. He was humble and nice guy. Yeah, Josh was there also. Had a chat with him as well.

Lilian, David from Malaysia-Asia, Rachel and me.

Joshua, ???, Jun Jun Riko and Me.

Yeah, I got lucky and won a Friendster jacket during the event.

Bryan, Riko, Dustyhawk, Ee win and me… Camwhore sessions…

Me and I-Mae…

Buaya Yat, David, Hsu Jen, Ee win, ???, Aaron of CincauHangus.com and me

Karen Kong and me…

Lastly, Rachel said she must take a picture with Namewee.

It was fun event, with food and friends. Hope to see more stuffs from Friendster in the future.
