My Beautiful Sister Wedding Day

19 January 2010 6 Comments

It was a lovely Saturday morning. Everyone in the family woke up early that morning. We were busy and nervous. It was quite an important day for us, the Ng family. It was our beloved sister, Adeline Ng’s wedding day. As we reached our family house, she was still preparing her make up and hair.

Sis was still making up at that time, I can tell she was nervous too.

She was pretty excited as she slowly took her time for make up.

She got her best buddies to accompany her. Everyone were so happy for her.

The sound of the car horns filled the street. The bridegroom Desmond came with style, a TD2000.

Time for the “gate opening” games.  The bridegroom usually must pass all the tasks prepared by the bridesmaids, then only he would be allowed to meet the bride. It’s a Chinese tradition that has been passed on generations.

Well, the bridegroom and his buddies must passed thru the lovely 7 bridesmaids.

They passed the first one with ease. Eric was seen dancing with Desmond.

The second task was much easier, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Lastly, Desmond was supposed to read a poem related to Adeline’s name.

Desmond passed thru and finally it was 2 of them posing for the camera.

It continued to traditional Chinese praying ceremony.

As well as serving the tea to the elderly as respect, for example our beloved grandma.

Adeline got too hot, so the girls decided to fan her.

Desmond and my dad. They were having fun yeah.

So do my mum.

Then, it was our turn.

The Ng family with a new family member, Desmond. It was a blessful morning, everything went very smoothly.

They had to rush to the bridegroom’s side after that.

Thank you family, relatives and friends who attended the morning session, we appreciate your attendance. And we would wish Adeline and Desmond, a happy every after.
