Fusion Buffet Lunch at Rise, Marina Bay Sands Singapore
Fusion Buffet Lunch at Rise, Marina Bay Sands Singapore

During my visit to the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, the other media representatives and I were given a taste of one of their exclusive restaurant, Rise. Located at the heart of the hotel lobby, the view from the restaurant was stunning.

The buffet lunch was a blend of western and Asian cuisine. As much as I loved their Chinese “kung po” style chicken to the Thai style deep fried fish fillet, the variety of the food were simply amazing.

Local specialties such as glass noodle, fried noodle and even Tandoori chicken, Rise aimed to give its customers a taste of Singapore food.

The ribs and the grilled beef were the favourites of the day. I loved how they prepared the grilled beef though I find it “too rare” for Asian likings. With the range of the food available, my lunch at Rise with the outstanding view will be one to remember.

Rise was so crowded last time I went.
The buffet was fairly mediocre. The food and variety was so average.
Free drinks only include tea and coffee, oh my god
Too bad for $80 my money. Never be back
