The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale Launch at Impact Convention Center, Bangkok: 15th June to 15th August 2010

It is always a blessing to be invited to the Land Of Smiles, Thailand. I am humbled by the invitation by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to witness the official launch of the Amazing Thailand Grand Sales at Impact Convention Center, Bangkok. The Amazing Thailand Grand Sales will be happening from June 15 to August 15. It was dubbed as the hottest sales in Thailand for 2010.

After touring Bangkok, I was there early with the rest of the media and tour operators group. We were amazed by the size of the Impact Convention Center. It was huge and gigantic. They were having a huge fair and we took a few hours walking around inside the convention center. They were selling from their local tour packages to clothing and food. In was an eye opener.

We were given a special welcome by the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s officials as we were given special VIP seats just behind the ministers. In fact, we were acknowledged by the master of ceremony before the official launch by the tourism minister of Thailand. We were left speechless.

The launch continued with a fashion show by local Thai models and actors. The fashion show’s opening music was lively and the models were hot!  A conversation with the rest agreed that the fashion show was spectacular.

This annual two months shopping extravaganza offers world class shopping experience with special discounts from 5% to 80% discount! Apart from Bangkok, the sales will be happening also at popular tourist destinations such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Udon Thani and Hat Yai. Looks like it will be an exciting month coming soon in Thailand and get ready for the Grandest Sale in Thailand!
