Travel Photos: Eye On Malaysia, Malacca

In conjunction of Visit Malaysia Year 2007, our ex-Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi decided to make the Eye on Malaysia. Erected as 60 meters tall, the portable ferris wheel is previously installed at Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur until it was relocated to Malacca on 2008.

Sadly, I never got the chance to hop on the ferris wheel while it was in Titiwangsa but I did hop on in Malacca instead, last year. It was majestic and huge, beautifully erected near the seaside in Malacca. The Eye on Malaysia comprises 42 air conditioned gondolas including 1 VIP gondola.

Of course, it didn’t have the beautiful scenery of Kuala Lumpur, the Eye on Malaysia itself is a beauty. For locals, the ride was only RM 10. My friends and I went for a ride and it was air conditioned and fun.

The Eye On Malaysia is currently closed down until further notice.
