Tegalalang Terrace Paddy Field: The Famous Rice Terrace of Bali

It was gloomy day in Bali. Spending our quality time in Bali for honeymoon wasn’t that bad after all. After shopping at the Ubud market, Rachel and I went to the famous rice terrace of Bali, the Tegalalang terrace paddy field. Tegalalang is located only minutes away from Ubud, however due to the traffic jam, we took much longer time than we anticipated.

As we reached Tegalalang, we can see many tourists snapping away with their cameras. Due to time constraint, we spent minimal time at Tegalalang. Least time spent but we managed to grab wonderful pictures. We were rushing to go for a sunset view nearby.

The best recommendation to do thing in Tegalalang is to have a tea break with the view. Imagine having your tea break with such amazing view, priceless. Rice terrace is one of the top attractions in Bali.

How to go to Tegalalang Rice Terrace:

Tagalalang rice terrace is very popular in Bali. It is best to hire a van with a tour guide as they could bring you to Ubud market as well as the Monkey Forest. Most tour guide in Bali offers different itineraries to suit you. Price varies depending on tour companies based on requirements.
