The world renowned English Premier League (EPL) Soccer team, Chelsea FC arrived at 12:35hours in KL International Airport (KLIA) today from London Gatwick on a special Malaysia Airlines’ charter flight. They are the third EPL soccer team to play Malaysia XI within these two weeks after Arsenal FC and Liverpool FC. Chelsea FC brought their strongest squad for their game against Malaysia XI. Players who are here include Fernando Torres, John Terry, Frank Lampard, new signing Ivanovic, Ashley Cole, Drogba and Nicholas Anelka.

Malaysia Airlines is the official air charter carrier for the Chelsea Football Club’s Asia Tour 2011, flying the English contingent to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hong Kong and back to London.
Chelsea Football club’s technical team and its players will also conduct a soccer clinic designed especially for Malaysia Airlines’ sponsored PINTAR children on 20 July 2011.

Chelsea will take on the national team, Tigers of Malaya, at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on 21 July 2011 at 8.45pm.
