Woolamai Beach Philip Island: Haven for Surfers

Philip Island is a must visit place when you visit Melbourne city or state Victoria in Australia. Most people go to Philip Island for penguin watching. Well, I know it is fun but there are other attractions in Philip Island as well. There are a few attractions that deserve a mention, places like A Maze N’ Things, Chocolate Factory, Koala Conservation Center, Churchill Island, The Nobbies and Woolamai Beach.

Woolamai Beach Philip Island Australia

This week’s picture of the week is the Woolamai Beach of Philip Island. It was a cloudy day when I went there. Strong winds and high waves, it is a good recipe for surfing.

For surfers, do stay a night or two in Philip Island (they have great accommodation) and go to Woolamai Beach for surfing and also the local restaurants for fresh seafood.

Nice photo bro. Haven’t been to this part of Australia yet. Been to Brisbane and Goldcoast only. And haven’t really tried surfing before, buy I’m sure I’m bad at it :)
