I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read that Sir Elton John is coming over to Malaysia on the local newspaper a few days ago.

It will be held at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on Nov 22, 2011. As part of the “Elton and Band” tour, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be rocking the 6000 capacity venue in Genting.

Sir Elton John’s long career includes 250 million records sold and multiple Grammy awards winner, Elton’s first visit to Malaysia as part of his “Greatest Hits Tour” schedule which includes Singapore, Indonesia and Australian/New Zealand.

He will be joined on the road once again by his long-time band; Davey Johnstone, Nigel Olsson, Bob Birch, Kim Bullard and John Mahon, All dedicated and superbly talented musicians who have been playing alongside the piano man for many years.

Expect to listen hit songs like “Saturday Night’s Alright (for Fighting)”, “Rocket Man”, “Levon” and “Your Song”. It is expected to be one of the most entertaining and biggest concerts in Arena of Stars.
