Kiki’s Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便) Ross Bakery, Tasmania
Kiki’s Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便) Ross Bakery, Tasmania
Kiki in the bakery, see the similarity with the picture at the bottom.
If you are the big fan of the award winning Japanese anime movie Kiki’s Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便), Hayao Miyazaki or Studio Ghibli, you will love this. Today I was surprised to visit the real life version of Kiki’s Delivery Service in Ross, a small town in Tasmania Australia.

The Ross Bakery in Ross…
According to the owner of the Ross Bakery, the bakery has inspired Hayao Miyazaki to create Kiki’s Delivery Service’s room and the bakery. Hence, I was given permission to see the actual room of Kiki and also the kitchen of the bakery.

Check out the antique wood fired oven!
The Ross Bakery is the proud owner of the antique oven and nothing bakes better than a wood fired oven. Thus, I have even tried their popular pastries and it was delectable.

You might be able to spot some of the similarities of the bakery and the anime of Kiki’s Delivery Service…
Ross Bakery is a short drive from Hobart or Launceston and let’s says it is around 35 to 40 min without speeding and the town itself is a beauty.

This is the actual room that inspired Kiki’s room in the movie…
Lastly, if you are moved by the magic of Kiki’s Delivery Service, you should drop by at the Ross Bakery for more magical pastries. Tomorrow I will blog about the best pastry of Ross Bakery and a short introduction to the Ross Bakery Inn. Make sure you come back and visit us for our amazing adventure in Tasmania Australia.

When we talk about coffee delivery services, we first need to talk about what kind of coffee drinker you are before we go into details for this type of services.
