MontMarte is a hill in the north of Paris France. It is also the setting for the famous movie, Amelie and the place offers one of the best scenic views of the city. Thus, you can find many cafes, bars, restaurants, art shops and market at MontMarte. MontMarte can be easily accessed via subway and the most iconic places of interest is Basilica of the Sacré Cœur.

If there is one place you should take a break in MontMarte, it should be this little boutique ice cream shop called Glacerie Morice Galka. It is located at 9, Rue des 3 Frères – M° Abbesses ou Anvers and if you take the train to MontMarte, you will pass by this ice cream place on your left.
It is a small little ice cream shop and they offer many varieties of ice cream flavours. Since it was just both of us, we decided to order their signature ice cream. We did try the rest and it was top of the charts.
Their signature ice cream is called La Breizhoo with caramel fleur de sel, gavottes and chocolat noisette. In English, it comes with salty butter caramel, Britain biscuits and hazelnuts Chocolate sauce. The combination is one of the best ice creams I had for a very long time. Probably I love the nutty ice cream or the genius combination of salty butter caramel and hazelnuts chocolate sauce smooth ice cream works for me. For 3.88E, it could be pricy but it was a savoury moment of enjoyment.
