Quill City Mall Review

It seems to be like endless when you talk about new shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur. After the recently launching of IOI City Mall, there is a new shopping mall opened right in the middle of the city centre, Quill City Mall.

The Quill City Mall is located at Jalan Sultan Ismail (opposite Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur). This is one of the busiest roads in the city but the mall is ideally located next to Medan Tuanku Monorail station, which is connected directly to the mall.

Since I have friends who working near the mall, they have been giving good reviews on the mall. As I was visiting them yesterday, I walked into the mall and check out the latest shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.

There are 8 floors of shopping, dining and entertainment. The mall is bright and it quite walking friendly as the impression is comfortable.

The main anchor tenant is AEON (former Jusco) and this is probably the best AEON outlet in Malaysia in terms of design. Like the other AEON outlets, it is equipped with Kids Room.

There is a huge weird size looking LED part of the interior with natural light from the large skylight at the top of the interior.

There are two main floors for food, one in Lower Ground and one in Level 4. There is a food court in Level 4 but still under renovations.

The most visible outlets opened in the mall are H&M, Starbucks, AEON and GSC cinemas.

The GSC cinema in Quill City Mall offers 10 screen multiplex with the total capacity is 1751 seats. Thus, there will be a THX hall equipped with Dolby Atmos 3D audio sound system (must be something really new and good). The cinema is opened since late last year and this is one of the cinemas you can visit during peak season like Chinese New Year.
