There is one thing we always do in Thailand, the Thai massage. The Thai Massage is the must thing to do when you visit Thailand. If you miss authentic Thai massage like we do, you can visit one of the Thai Odyssey outlets in Malaysia.
Thai Odyssey is one of the few spas that offer authentic Thai massage. What we like about them is the quality control. All of their masseuses are Thais with great experience in Thai massage.
With a new outlet in Sunway Velocity (which is near to my office), I brought my mom for a pampering session at Thai Odyssey. They located on the 4th Floor (4-12) in Sunway Velocity (opposite TGV Cinemas).
It is relatively a small outlet and it has the similar interior design like the other Thai Odyssey outlets. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the smiley staffs and I like the ambience of this outlet. The dim light and also soothing music, overall it gives you a very good first impression of the outlet.
Even though this outlet opened for a few days, I was told that it is better for me to make a booking first to avoid disappointment. I believe it is trust, reputation and also the branding of Thai Odyssey.
After putting our details, we went for the foot scrubbing session before we enter the private massage rooms. They have couple room or private room for body massage.
The room well, the picture speaks for itself. I love the dim light and how comfortable is the setting. They also upgraded their cupboard with the magnetic bracelet. You can lock and unlock the cupboard with that. This is for the security of your belongings. Thefts are very unheard of in Thai Odyssey but this is a very good initiative by them. I have been to many massage centres and spas around Asia and only a handful comes with this security system.
I had a more mature Thai masseuse. The kneading technique is strong, skill ful and precise. Overall, the Thai massage was very good. My mother was so happy with the massage, she tipped them.
We know there are many Thai massage services out there but when it comes to quality, cleanliness, professional and value for money, Thai Odyssey remains on top of our list. You are paying 3 star price for a 6 star service, this is how we describe our experience in Thai Odyssey.
