We started the evening at Canopy Lounge by Tiger Bay London with their popular cocktails. It is always awesome to see how the bartender weaves his magic in preparing the cocktails. The difference between Canopy Lounge by Tiger Bay London and the other bars is they only uses uses premium quality alcohol and have a minimum pour of 60ml for every cocktail, not 45ml which is a lot more common for bars here in Kuala Lumpur.

We tasted three lovely cocktails by the talented mixologist and they are White Shangria, Summer Fizz and Apple and Cinnamon Buck.

Summer Fizz is a mixture of gin, Monin elderflower, grapefruit juice, white wine and soda.

White Sangria is a mixture of triple sec, mint leaf, apple, lemon, cucumber and green grapes.

Apple and Cinnamon Buck  is a mixture of gin, apple shrub, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and ginger ale.

The cocktails were lovely and let’s check out their food. For starters, you will be spoilt for choices. They have Onion Bhaji, Golden Sand Eggplant, Hot Atomic Wings, Chilli Garlic Chicken and Mutton Roll.

We decided to try the Mutton Roll. Even the presentation is never close to spectacular, the taste of this is actually pretty good. Mutton is always tasty if you cooked it right. Their version of mutton roll is mutton with traditional spices, wrapped in bread crumbs coated pancake and it makes a perfect snack to complement with cocktails.

They have a variety of pizzas available such as Margherita, Beef Lover and Tandoori Chicken Hot Pizza. What we like about their pizzas is they use thin crust base and also the quality ingredients. Another good appetizer to go with drinks.

Saiji Chicken comes with a whole spring chicken and the taste is pretty good. We noticed that the chef marinated the chicken with herbs and spices and that is why the taste of the food here in general is strong.

Their version of Lamb Black Bean is fresh sliced lamb tossed with black beans sauce and served with vegetable fried rice. The taste of the lamb is intense and it is recommended to go with the fried rice.

For burger lovers, you can also their juicy chicken burger. It comes with tender chicken patty with crispy lettuce, melting mozzarella and creamy mayonnaise. This goes well with the drinks
