What is new for Samsung Galaxy Note 8?
It comes with a huge screen of 6.3 inch of ‘infinity display’ similar to Samsung Galaxy S8. Since I am using the Samsung Galaxy S8, the infinity display is one of the best thing ever for a smartphone. It comes with all the features of Samsung Galaxy S8 which includes IP68 water and dust resistant.
You can check out the video sample I took from the front camera of Samsung Galaxy S8 with IP68 water and dust resistant. We won’t recommend you to use it as an action camera and swim with it. The water resistant is important when you have kids. With kids around, there are higher chances of the phone spilled with water or milk.
Finally, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with dual back cameras and single front camera. The back cameras are 12MP cameras with OIS (anti shake) with wide angle of f/1.7 and telephoto f/2.4. The front camera comes with 8MP f/1.7. The dual camera also has the option of having the ‘bokeh’ (blurred background) after you took the pictures. This is new feature of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
When it comes to Samsung Galaxy Note series, the S Pen is the one important component. Now you can write memos on the phone’s lock screen up to 100 pages! Another new feature of the S Pen is the ‘Live Message’. You can draw an animated drawing and sent it in an instant message. Not forgetting, you can highlight the entire sentence and translate it to 72 languages.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6GB Ram memory and 64GB storage expandable via microSD card. It also comes with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It comes with four colours; Midnight Black, Deepsea Blue, Orchid Grey and Maple Gold. Maybe more colours in the future?
