Tealive Malaysia To Close All Their Outlets Immediately

This is the big news of today. According to DiscoverKL.com and BHarian.com.my, The Court of Appeal has dismissed Tealive’s stay of execution and that means the brand must close all their outlets immediately.

This means that Tealive must close all their 161 outlets in Malaysia and it will affect 800 staffs nationwide. This legal battle has been ongoing since Chatime Malaysia Franchise Contract under Loob Holding was Terminated early last year.

Loob Holding then created home grown brand Tea Live and most of the Chatime outlets under Loob Holding converted to the new brand.

There are no official words from Tealive Malaysia yet but we will update this story once we got more news.

All Tealive Malaysia outlets are closed at the moment and we just have to wait and see what will happen next.

There are still Chatime, Gong Cha and other tea brands available right now. Since we are not a huge bubble tea fans, we just stick to our good old ‘Teh C’ from the kopitiams.
