It is confirmed! Malindo Air will be flying to Hokkaido Japan from KLIA. Malindo Air will fly to Chitose International Airport in Hokkaido. This is NOT a direct flight and there will be one stop at Taoyuan Airport in Taipei. This is the second airlines from Malaysia flying to Chitose International Airport after AirAsia X. AirAsia X flies direct from KLIA2 to Chitose International Airport Hokkaido.

AirAsia X flies direct from KLIA2 to Chitose International Airport Hokkaido.
The first flight starts on 23rd March 2019. There will be three flights per week which is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight time to Chitose is over 9 hours inclusive of stopover in Taipei and flying back time is almost 11 hours inclusive of the stop over.
