A few days ago, I was invited for a lunch with the representatives of sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck. Together with other medias, we thrilled by the presentation of the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck.

sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck, Hong Kong’s first indoor observation deck has welcomed over half a million visitors within a year of its opening. This latest attraction is also now one of the top 5 attractions in the city. Today, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck proudly presents its 2012 summer campaign and Kids Free promotion for South East Asian tourists.

As Hong Kong’s newest attraction, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck is located on the 100th floor of International Commerce Centre (ICC), the tallest building in Hong Kong and also the world’s fourth tallest. This iconic landmark is also one of Hong Kong’s leading transportation and shopping hubs, making the deck one of the most convenient attractions in town for a one-stop travel and shopping experience.

In addition to these picturesque 360° panoramic views, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck offers a variety of advanced facilities and services to enrich the visitor experience, including state-of-the-art telescopes, interactive touch screens and informative models – all of which designed to offer visitors a richer understanding of Hong Kong. A professional photo booth with advanced augmented-reality (AR) technology is also available for visitors’ pleasure, enabling them to create truly unique photo souvenirs by choosing special backgrounds and virtual props, resulting interesting 3D effects.

This summer, a new photographic area managed by Kodak, the world renowned photo products provider, will be officially be in operation on the 2nd floor, offering visitors professional photography services. sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck is a great place for family activities


To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover to China, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck is launching Hong Kong’s first ever “YES WE CAN!” Exhibition  from 11 July to 2 September, 2012.In the exhibition, iconic Hong Kong landmarks such as the Tsimshatsui clock tower, Tsing Ma Bridge and the city’s world-famous double-deck trams will be built by cans in various shapes and sizes and to be displayed on the deck. Visitors will be able to enjoy great views and experience the “can-do” spirit of Hong Kong people at the same time!
In addition, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck will partner with the local travel agencies in Malaysia to launch a Kids Free Promotion. From now till 2 September 2012, every visiting family (two adults and one child) who purchase tickets to sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck through participating local travel agencies will enjoy free admission for the child.

We usually go to the Peak for the overview picture of Hong Kong but sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck offers 360 degrees of panoramic view of the city of lights. When we were there early last year, it was not completed. In fact we were at the Elements shopping center below shopping for Onitsuka Tiger shoes.

  1. Yeah Wilson, You’re Right! Feel like going back to Hong Kong again. So much has changed since my last visit there 10 years ago.
