Tresor Casino De Bariloche, Patagonia, ARGENTINA
Casinos are everywhere in Argentina. Almost in every town we visited. One of the most memorable casinos out of all I visited in Argentina was the Tresor Casino De Bariloche in the lovely city of Bariloche, Patagonia. Out of the few places that I fell in love in Argentina, Bariloche is one of them. I wish I could own one of the apartments to stay there during summer or even winter.
My 2 nights stay in Bariloche was memorable. Shopping is a fun thing to do …

Well, even though its summer in Argentina, trust me the weather is freaking cold. This will be another short post until I have time for a more comprehensive post.

We stayed in El Calafate for that reason. The 6 hours cruise ride cost around 295 pesos (US 90) excluding meal. We  got ourselves a double decker cruise. I …

Amazing Empanadas at La Saltenita, El Bolson, Rio Negro, Patagonia, ARGENTINA

I realized something when I’m traveling in Argentina. Small town has good food. Seriously. Our unprecedented stop at El Bolson for petrol forced us a quick bite. El Bolson is in the Rio Negro region of Patagonia. Patagonia itself is huge, we had been traveling for days at Route 40, Patagonia Argentina.

Luckily, near the petrol station we found a shop selling Empanadas. Empanadas are Latin American pastry stuffed with fillings, with the skin quite similar to our Malaysian curry puff skin.

They have lots of varieties of the empanadas on the …

Dirt Desert of Barrancas, Neuquen,Patagonia, ARGENTINA

I never could imagine Argentina could be so beautiful. Well, that’s a hint of what I will be posting once I’m back to Kuala Lumpur in March. Another good news I got today is I might be going to Uruguay after all. I will not be joining the other group to Rio for the annual “samba parade”, instead I will stick to my plan to go to Uruguay, fingers crossed.
Back to the story, after leaving Malargue and on our way to Neuquen, I was fascinated by the dirt desert along …
