Finding wild penguins in The Nobbies on Phillip Island
Everyone goes to Phillip Island for the Penguin Walk where you can see wild penguins walking back to their nests by the beach. Easily you can spot dozens of wild penguins marching back from the sea through the beach from wooden platforms. However, you can’t use flash to take pictures of them as you might blind their eye sight.

So where to find them? Wild penguins are wild penguins and their nests are natural habitats so they not just limited to Penguin Walk …

Eureka Skydeck 88 Melbourne
I’m sure most people who visited Melbourne would miss this. The Eureka Skydeck 88 is located Located on Riverside Quay, the southern banks of the Yarra river. Like most observatory decks, Eureka is perfectly positioned for 360 degree views. The breath taking view includes Melbourne’s CBD, sports precinct, Port Phillip Bay, Docklands and everything in between.

The Eureka Tower.
I have been to some of the observatory decks in the world. My humble list includes Rockefeller New York, Macao Tower, Singapore SkyPark, sky100 Hong Kong and Eureka Skydeck 88.

There’s Nothing Like Australia – Self Drive Holiday
We used to stay in a suburb in New South Wales Australia a few years ago. The town’s name is Wagga Wagga and it means the “land of crows”. We had a small car and we drove around when we were free especially during weekends.

Driving during winter, an experience of a lifetime.

Winter in Falls Creek, loved the snow.
We drove to Canberra for three hours, Melbourne for four and Sydney for five. We even drove up to Falls Creek, a popular ski area in …

Philip Island Chocolate Factory,  Victoria
While thousands visit Philip Island for the Penguin Walk, there are also other attractions that are worth to visit. One of them is Philip Island Chocolate Factory.

Philip Island Chocolate Factory
I did surprise me when I heard about this chocolate factory. That was one of the reasons it was a wise decision to stay a night on Philip Island. There were more things to do on Philip Island than many could imagined.

The Philip Island Chocolate Factory was ideally located at the Philip Island main road. The entrance fee …

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia
In the recent trip to Victoria Australia, I have travelled to a wine producing region called Yarra Valley. Home to dozens of top class wine producers, the best way to enjoy the beautiful scenic of Yarra Valley is by air through hot air balloon and to gaze upon sky as the sun rises.
Riding on a hot air balloon in Yarra Valley is a very popular tourist attraction in Australia. Due to the uncertainty of weather condition in Victoria, I had to stay …

Causeway 353 Hotel Melbourne Review
There are dozens of boutique hotels in Melbourne and it is tough to find a good one. During my last trip to Melbourne, I stayed at Causeway 353 Hotel. My stay was sponsored by Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia as I was invited for a media trip in Victoria. I have no restrictions or obligations (by sponsors) to review my stay so this is an honest review.
The Causeway 353 Hotel is part of the Causeway Hotels group. There are three Causeway hotels in Melbourne and the …

Koala Conservation Centre Philip Island, Victoria
When you mention about animals in Australia, they are kangaroo, koala, wombat, emu, platypus, wallaby and koala bear.
I stayed in Australia more than a year ten years ago and I never seen a live koala bear before. Last year, I finally saw one when I visited the Koala Conservation Centre in Philip Island.
Thousands or maybe millions flock to Philip Island for only one reason, the penguin watching. There are more just penguins on Philip Island and the Koala Conservation Centre is one of them.

My visit …

Colourful Mount Martha Beach Huts

Colourful Mount Martha Beach Huts
We have seen different types of beach huts but not the colourful ones. On our sponsored trip to Victoria Australia earlier year, we stop over at Mount Martha Beach near Mornington Peninsula only for one reason. The beach huts.

Why colourful beach huts?

As I was told, this beach huts are rented by vacationers who kept their boats inside the huts. To identify their huts easier, they coloured the huts differently.

Thus, it naturally becomes a tourist attraction of Mornington Peninsula, how convenient!

We left Mount Martha beach for Frankston …

Yarra Valley Dairy Fresh Farmhouse Cheese
One of the highlights of Yarra Valley must be the Yarra Valley Dairy. My recent trip to the region surrounding Yarra River in Australia brought me to the award winning Yarra Valley Dairy. Located in the world class wine region, Yarra Valley offers fresh farmhouse cheese produced with their 200 top quality cattle.

The dairy is a wooden house with a scenic landscape. Some might mistook this as someone’s property.

There were a few exhibits of traditional dairy items as we walked in. The décor is a …

Pelican View Review: San Remo Fisherman’s Co-operative, Victoria, AUSTRALIA

The first time I visit a fish market in Australia was in 2001 in Sydney. The Sydney Fish Market is one of the popular attractions in Sydney and many would travel there for fresh seafood. On top of that, there are also pelicans around the area.

My recent trip to Victoria courtesy of Tourism Victoria brought me to San Remo near Philip Island. There is similarity on both places such restaurants serving fresh seafood, both are located at the seaside with a jetty …
