It is not a myth and it is not a rumour. Barcelona FC is coming to play in Malaysia for the first time on the 10th August 2013. Coincidently it will be on the third day of Hari Raya. The Barca giants is expected to play Malaysia XI on their first tour to Malaysia.

It is official and as expected English Premier League side QPR (Queens Park Ranger) is touring Asia. QPR will play friendlies against the Malaysian local football team in Sabah on 17th July and in Kuala Lumpur on 20th July as reported in a local online site a few days ago.

Late last month, there were a few big announcements in the football scene in Malaysia. Manchester City and Arsenal FC (again) is coming to town for a friendly with Malaysia team.

The Arsenal FC will be playing the Malaysia team on 24th July 2012 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The star studded team will go against our Harimau Muda again. Arsenal FC came last year and defeated our boys 4-0.

I was there last year and it was a great experience.
