Halal Food Restaurants Directory for Muslim Visitors in Hong Kong, China
Last year, I went to one of the events organized by Hong Kong Tourism Board in Kuala Lumpur. I was given a booklet named Destination Hong Kong, a Guide for Muslim Visitors. There were guides and list on Halal Food availability in Hong Kong.
Halal Food often hard to find in non Muslim countries. Well, some restaurants might be serving Halal food but they are not Halal certified. Finding a authentic Halal restaurant with Halal certification will be tougher.
For that, let …

Another post written by me, Rachel been busy taking care of the house, asking her to write will add up more work for her. She will love to write a few upcoming ones, but for now I’m to write this.
I blogged about flymas.mobi recently and we used it for our bloggers’ Penang “makan” trip.
It all happened on last Sunday. I fetched Bryan, Ivy Ai Wei and Wei Zhi of Kampungboycitygal to KLIA. Luckily, I managed to grab this picture out of no where.
Then, we met the rest. …

This was something I was craving for. My attempt to review the restaurant during MIGF was futile. So a few weeks ago, I got tagged along for my first review for newly renovated China Treasures.
Well, it was worthwhile.
The place itself is classy. Located in Sime Darby Convention Center, parking is no issue and the best part is Muslims can come and dine here, its Halal.
For more private dining experience, there are few dedicated rooms for VIPs.
Not to mention the well decorated Chinese decorations. The renovation really did …

Pizza Hut – Crunchy Crunch Cheesy Bites Pizza
Pizza Hut needs no introduction as we grew up having pizzas at Pizza Hut.
Early last week I was invited by my makan kaki Chris Tock to attend for a food tasting session at Pizza Hut Maju Junction outlet. Before this, it has been donkey years since I visited them. It was to try out one of their latest menu, crunchy cheesy bites pizza.
When they mentioned king prawn, they meant it. Check out the size of the prawn, on top of the pizza, Marvelous!
Unlike …

Hello Rawang Town! This was my very first time to Rawang Town for food. Me and Rachel traveled to Rawang town last weekend for something that we haven’t been doing for some time. Food hunt.
Lucky enough, we had a few friends stayed in that area to bring us around. Amazingly, the sky was fantastic when we were on our way there.
However, it turned gloomy soon after that.
The stall is located in front of Magnum 4D stall on the main road. It’s quite hard to miss it. The stall has …

Kushi Q – Japanese Automated Griller at City Square, Johor Bahru
There’s a new place in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur offering popular Japanese automated griller. The place is called Kushi Q. They are the first in Malaysia to offer such technology, adapted from Japan.
Thanks Eden for the invitation for the Johor Bahru outlet. Opened recently, Kushi Q Johor Bahru located at Level 2, City Square Johor Bahru Shopping Center.
Though it was newly opened, it was already popular with the locals there especially the teenagers.
Some of the mouth watering yakitori, Japanese …

There’s one food season that’s well forgotten by most Malaysians. The Ramadhan season! During the Ramadhan fasting period, there are many Ramadhan food stalls in KL sell foods like ayam percik, murtabak and such. And only during Ramadhan, this food stalls had the permit to sell at the designated areas. I went to the Ramadhan food stalls in Pandan Jaya, Cheras lately.
It’s a one year once affair. No way I’m going to miss Ramadhan foods this time around.
Ayam percik!!
Ayam percik at RM 3.50 each. Geez, price increased this year. It …

Before I start, thanks Jade and Fatboybakes for the invitation.
It was my first time dining at Bangsar Seafood Garden at One Bangsar. Me and wife, Rachel were surprised to see there was a huge group there. We were probably the most junior among them.
The feast started with the Boneless Chicken with …

Surprisingly after so long, this is my first post on Mamak (Tamil Muslim) foods. Don’t get me wrong, I loved mamak foods such as roti canai and tosai paper as well.
Brickfields has heaps of mamak shops and indian restaurants. Normally, I went to Nagas for my mamak craves. Nagas is located opposite La Salle school, around the Brickfields Police Station. The good thing about them is they have their open parking spaces.
Teh tarik…
Roti sardine. Lots of chili “padi” mixed with sardine and onions. Personally, I would prefer without it. …

A few weeks ago, thanks to Ken Chan, me and a few bloggers had a lovely food review invitation for Yishensu, One Utama.
Locating the restaurant could never been easier. Located at the old wing of One Utama, its located beside Canton-I and opposite of TGIF.
The interior was very cozy.
I loved the warm lights, a very nice setting for dining…
We were welcomed with a 4 dishes platter as starter. The platter had “Cola” Flavoured Spare Ribs” (middle), Golden Prawn with Mayo (left), Cuttlefish with Satay Sauce (right) and Shark Fin’s …

This place is actually “hidden” in between The Gardens and Mid Valley @ Lower Ground. It is located at one of the corners of the pathway.
I admit no secret that this has been my usual place. Reason being their good price and the crunchy “you tiao”…
There are 2 types of porridge served here, dried scallops and oyster peanut porridge.
The price plus “you tiao” set? RM 3.90! On top of lovely porridge, they served nice soya bean and “tau fu far”. Don’t expect lots of stuffs in your porridge for the …

Few months back there was a craze on the Taiwanese style XXL fried chicken. It was even sold in night markets with a few different types of style. I was thinking a bit whether to review this or not since it has became a franchise now. Well, I guessed why not.
See the franchise word??
I would say Shihlin’s XXL Chicken would feel your tummy….
I find the Oyster Mee Suah a bit salty…
The Egg Crepe to me as well just so so..
I would still say the XXL Crispy Chicken is my hot …
