However, the third day of our honeymoon in Bali was rather relax and lazy.
We stayed at Dreamland Luxury Villa and Spa for our first two nights and yet we didn’t have time to enjoy the facilities so our third day is mainly chill in our private villa. Since we paid so much for our stay in the villa, it would be ridiculous for not experience it to the fullest.

We can always go to the café for our complimentary breakfast or we can order it to our villa. They will come early in the morning, set up the breakfast in the gazebo. However, we need to book a day in advance for it. A typical breakfast meal in Dreamland Luxury Villa and Spa looks like a feast.
We spend half day in Dreamland Luxury Villa and Spa before we checked out and check in to our second villa, Le Beau Kunti Villa in Seminyak.

La Beau Kunti Villa adapts a more modern design and the villas available are lesser than Dreamland Luxury Villa and Spa. Budget wise it is relatively cheaper than Dreamland Luxury Villa and Spa.
The advantage of staying in Seminyak is it is located near Kuta town and relatively near the airport. The closer we stay to the airport it is better for us because we can avoid unnecessary traffic jams.
For a full review of La Beau Kunti Villa, check out my previous blog post named La Beau Kunti Villa Review, Seminyak, BALI: Beauty of Private Villa.
We spent remaining half of the day enjoying our sweet time at La Beau Kunti. In the villa, we have private open concept kitchen as well as sofa for guests. Even the toilet is open concept.

For dinner, our guide took us to a Japanese buffet restaurant. The place is called 168 Japanese Buffet Restaurant.

It is a steamboat (hot pot) or shabu shabu type of restaurant. It is quite typical buffet restaurant. The restaurant is huge and most of the patrons there were from tour groups. At least half of them are Chinese from China. We had a good chat with few of them, promoting Malaysia (again) and we chat about some the places we visited in Bali.
168 Japanese Buffet Restaurant Address and Contact:
Jl. Sunset Road No.168 Kuta, Bali – Indonesia
Phn./Fax : +62 361 977565

After the heavy dinner, we went back to La Beau Kunti. We rest early before another hectic day. Please do check out our Honeymoon Day Four in the next few days.
We will be away this weekend for our first diving trip. Thank you for reading!

Let me put something nice for a Friday. Since we are going to have a long weekend ala Merdeka celebrations, we will be away for a short holiday as well. We will be going to Kuching for a short trip.

This whole dream wedding chapel wasn’t really my idea. My sis, Adeline told me about this amazing dream wedding chapel in Bali a few months ago. Then, she went to Bali and took a couple of pictures of it. After looking at the pictures, I knew its going to be posted here.

The place is called Blue Point Bay Villas & Spas in Bali. It’s quite popular for its wedding packages, address and contact as below.

Now, let me share with you the dream wedding chapel pictures…

The chapel, but that’s not all….

Look at that!

The amazing sea view….

(March ’09)-Inspired by a Balinese royal palace, the hotel offers 68 contemporary rooms and is ideally situated in the shopping and entertainment area of Tuban. The Febris Hotel and Spa is centrally located on the main Kartika Plaza Street on South Kuta Beach and is close to such major shopping and entertainment attractions as the Discovery Mall, Kuta Art Market, Kuta Centre Shopping & Entertainment complex, and Kuta Square. Other surrounding family facilities that are available include Waterbom Park, Reverse-Bungee Jumping, Bowling, and a variety of ethnic restaurants. The onsite, open-air, restaurant is on the street front, and serves Indonesian, Italian, and Chinese cuisine. – Agoda.com
Yeah, that was the review I read before I booked and stayed at Febri’s. The place itself was in the heart of the area of Tuban (Kuta). Walking distance to shops and restaurants. 5 min walk to Kuta Beach which is just at the opposite of the road.

When the taxi driver dropped us at the lobby, we were relieved and happy. Relieved to see the hotel was exactly the same as the pictures on the internet and happy because it’s just walking distance to the shopping malls, shops and restaurants.

We were greeted by the nice lady at the front lobby. From there, we were guided to our rooms, walking pass the massive lovely swimming pool they have.

Each room has a nice little entrance. We just can’t wait to see the room.

The room was big. There was a nice King size bed and a nice little sofa at window side. The bathroom was lovely as well. No cracks or stains or what so ever. The moment we went to the room, we were happily playing with TV remote which had cable TV with dozens of channels. The room was very clean.

The swimming pool was nice. They have quite a number of benches for sunbathing as well. We did really enjoy the pool very much.

Overall, Febri’s is a good hotel to stay in. Price was reasonable as well, we managed to book it at USD 46 nett per night inclusive of breakfast. Service was very good and the room was very clean. Their spa was pretty good as well as we had hot stone massages there.

The only thing bad about this place is it’s 5 min walk to the beach. Otherwise it would be a lovely hotel resort.

As recommended by Lonely Planet.

This place was hard to find for the first time. Its actually just off the main road, but going there for the first time could be tricky. Do print out maps to help the cabbies (taxi drivers). We had hard time looking the hotel when its actually around the corner.

Located at the Nusa Dua area, Ellie’s Hotel is slightly isolated from the beaches. However, if you are looking for an authentic Balinese style of staying, this hotel will be your best choice. Going to the beach might need a cab.

The entrance of the Ellie’s Hotel.

Some of the Balinese architecture items around the hotel.

Our lovely seaview room. Spacious and comfortable with individual air conditioner. The furnitures looked brand new.

But there was no cable TV but they had DVD player for movies. They had a huge stack of DVDs at the lobby counter. They had enough supply for a year!

Another view of a diffrenet angle of the hotel room. The room is huge with marble floors and cozy. Most important of all, its very clean!

The lovely balcony outside of the room.

The little cozy swimming pool.

Overall, I loved the quietness of the Ellie’s Hotel and the uniquness of the architecture of the place.
The hotel only had 8 rooms. Not much facilities except the lovely swimming pool.

Breakfast was provided and it was cooked on individual basis. Breakfast there was fantastic.

If you are looking for a 4-5 stars facilities hotel with beach, this might not be an ideal place for you.

However, if you are looking for quietness, something “different” than the usual hotels, this could be a more suitable hotel for you.

Talk to David, the manager. He ws an amazing person. Same goes to the locals there who were very helpful and super friendly.

Ellie’s Hotel, Nusa Dua Room Rates:
