Langkawi GeoPark Cable Car Ride and Bird’s Eye View of Langkawi
“You must go and take the cable car!” – That was what my sister told me before I went to Langkawi. To tell you the truth, I have no idea what it was all about.
We went through the entrance, waited for 20 min for our ride and…

… it was magnificent… on our way up, I managed to zoom my old Sony Cybershot to this waterfall… Natural waterfall “untouched”…

I thought that was it but it was only the teaser, the …

Wild Eagle Feeding, Langkawi, MALAYSIA
There are still a few things that I’ve yet to post about my trip to Langkawi a few months back. I must say this trip has change my mind set about Langkawi. There are so many interesting stuffs to do, not like it used to be.
Eagle Feeding tour is normally packaged with Mangrove Tour. Its quite breath taking seeing eagles dive speedily down to the river to fetch their foods.
I took a few pictures, you can clearly see the eagles swarming at the area waiting for …

Thai Seafood @ Rose Tea 2, Langkawi
The most unexpected first dinner. We had Thai food. Don’t get us wrong, since Langkawi is near southern Thailand so it means they do have nice Thai restaurants.
I had this on October 2008 when I was in Langkawi. We just randomly chose this restaurant and it didn’t turn out to be bad. I guess when you were in Langkawi, liquors will be the first choice no matter where you eat. We ordered a plate of vegetables and a few plates of crabs. I’m on …

Harbour Steakhouse @ Harbour Park, Pantai Kok, Langkawi
There were a few restaurants at the Harbour Park and it wasn’t our intention to taste and review all the restaurants during our trip. However, we found the area comfortable and affordable especially on the cocktails.

We went to Harbour Steakhouse and they offered Western dining cuisines. Since we were in between normal meals, we decided to have something light instead of heavy.

Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwich, nothing fancy.
Roast Beef and Onion Sandwich was a better choice.
The fantastic things I learn from restaurants at …

Mare Blu Kafe @ Harbour Park, Langkawi
This one of the few restaurants we tried at Harbour Park. We thought of going elsewhere to try out some foods but at the end of the day, we stick to Harbour Park for lunch.
We picked Mare Blu since we tried the other restaurants.

The bar of the Kafe.

We had a few tapas for starters. All of this are set lunches.

The aglio olio with clams. This was quite well cooked and the taste was reasonably good. We loved the …

Redang Beach Resort Review
My first visit to Redang Island few months back was a good one. Like many first timers, I did a google search for which best value resort to stay in Redang. I chose Redang Beach Resort. For the price I’ve paid, I expect nothing spectacular from it.

We were given a few minutes walk from the small little jetty on the island as I didn’t expect anything from it…

But from the way we look at it, I knew the resort was good….

The canteen, 3 plus 1 snack …

A Russian Affair at USSR Restaurant, Harbour Park, Langkawi
I never had Russian food before… Like many other curious eaters, we gave it a try….
It was really nice and cozy at Harbour Park at night in Langkawi…. Dining there will be nothing more to ask for…
Not just the name is Russian, there’s a lot of Russians there as well…
Please do ask the English menu, they do have one big copy of Russian menu…
Flags in the restaurant: Should we need to explain more?
A taste of Russian: The interior of USSR
This salmon salad …

Out Of The World Harbour Park, Pantai Kok, Langkawi
The moment when I drove near the area I couldn’t believe my eyes. Well, I was told about this place by my sis and a few friends but looking at it is quite breath taking.
There are many yachts at the area parked along a row of lovely restaurants.
The rest are the pictures taken…
Private Yachts: Nicely parked at the Harbour Park
Does this picture reminds you of somewhere?
Together: Me and Rachel at Harbour Park
