Big hand applause to the organizers of Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2011. I went to Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2011 yesterday evening and it was amazing!
I reached the venue around 5 pm and it was packed. Traffic wasn’t that bad, slow moving. I manage to grab a parking space but it is slightly further.

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2011 is happening from 17th to 20th of March 2011. This is the 3rd Hot Air Balloon festival in Putrajaya and there are over 20 countries that are participating this time around. Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel – Perfect Weekend Getaway
A few weeks ago, we decided to go to Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside for a weekend getaway. We wanted to go somewhere which is not in city and not too far from the city as well. We chose Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel. Located in Putrajaya, we booked a room there and we tagged David and Lilian of Malaysia-Asia along with us.

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2010 Picture Gallery
Rachel and I just came back from the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon. I must say it is a very successful event with a huge turnout from the locals. We went there around 9 am and the place was packed.
There are lots of traffic police controlling the traffic and parking spaces are still there but in further distance. It was gloomy just now so the pictures didn’t turn out as nice as I expected. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures below.

It would be “once in a blue moon” to go to Putrajaya. Indeed this was one of the days. Proud to say, Putrajaya was holding an international fireworks competition. It was indeed something that is rare.
The fireworks that filled the night sky with amazing displays.

And the ever amazing finale. This fireworks team is from Italy. Estimated there were thousands of people jamming their way to PutraJaya. It took us around 2 hours to get back to KL. For the 30 min of fireworks, it was worth it. …
