Argentina’s Tango Artist, Guillermo Alio

Argentina’s Tango Artist, Guillermo Alio
There’s a lot of tango dancers and artists in Argentina but finding the best of both world is not easy. Luckily, I found one by the name of Guillermo Alio in La Boca. La Boca is one of the places you couldn’t miss in Buenos Aires. Rich by history itself, I went to La Boca with my friend Shakhira. La Boca is also the home for the world renowned football team, Boca Juniors.

Unlike the city of Buenos Aires, La Boca simply different. Different in the sense …

My First Small Aircraft Flying Experience with Aero Club Ushuaia, ARGENTINA

Upon arriving Ushuaia, Argetntina I often see the light aircraft venturing the sky. Thus, I asked one of the local tour operator out of curiosity and it wasn’t expensive. Half an hour flight cost around US$ 70 and an hour flight cost around US$ 120.
I never had an experience flying with a small aircraft before so I will not miss this opportunity. Together with buddy “Double Zero” Rate De Silva, we went to the Aero Club Ushuaia Airport with one reason and one reason only, FLYING!

“Double Zero” had his flying …

Happy Chinese New Year from Ushuaia, ARGENTINA

Happy Chinese New Year 2010 from Wilson Ng of PlacesAndFoods.com in Ushuaia, Argentina. Ushuaia, Argentina is the most southern city in the world. It is a small town and also a port for cruises to go to Antarctica or South Pole. It’s currently summer here but the weather is cold enough enough for the mountains to be snow capped. Sadly, I have to leave Rachel for this trip due to time consumption and work commitment. The landscape in Ushuaia, Argentina is nothing but breathtaking. I would never leave my …

My Real 26 HOURS Experience with Malaysia Airlines

This is not an advertorial or paid post. This is my real experience. My flight from Kuala Lumpur to Buenos Aires on Jan 27th took around 26 hours inclusive of 2 stop overs at South Africa. It was my furthest place I travel and the longest flying time I experienced in my life. I flew with Malaysia Airlines MH201 on this trip. It was a very early morning flight, around 1.20 am. Many might not know, only Malaysia Airlines fly direct to Buenos Aires from Southeast Asia. Hence, the flight …

Ground Zero at World Trade Center Path Station, NYC

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Should I jump in joy? I found most of my old travel pictures in one of my external hard drive. My trip to New York City in 2007  was a memorable one. One of the places that was significantly unforgettable was the Ground Zero site at the World Trade Center Path Station.

Please bear in mind the pictures are taken in April 2007. We reached Ground Zero around 4-5 pm that day. Yet, the place was crowded.

The sign in front of the World Trade Center Path Station.

There were …

My Beautiful Sister Wedding Day

It was a lovely Saturday morning. Everyone in the family woke up early that morning. We were busy and nervous. It was quite an important day for us, the Ng family. It was our beloved sister, Adeline Ng’s wedding day. As we reached our family house, she was still preparing her make up and hair.

Sis was still making up at that time, I can tell she was nervous too.

She was pretty excited as she slowly took her time for make up.

She got her best buddies to accompany her. Everyone were …

Yesterday, we were invited for a private party courtesy of Carlsberg with FHM Magazine’s GND (Girls Next Door) by Jun Jun Riko. Riko won a Carlsberg contest earlier on to entitle her to invite 50 of her friends for this party. We were 2 of her 50 adored friends.
We reached Carlsberg Brewery at Shah Alam around 10pm. The crowd were already there and we didn’t waste any time to mingle around with friends.
How do you know your friends love you?

They ask you to do a beer drinking …
