Times Square New York Night Experience: Absolutely Breathtaking
After spending more than 18 hours flying from Changi Airport Singapore with Singapore Airlines, I finally arrived at Newart Airport in New York with my clients. Though this happened a few years ago, what I had experience during the New York trip was unforgettable.
Traveling at such long distance was tiring. As soon as we reached the airport, we took a taxi to Times Square as we stayed in Best Western Hotel. After sorting our rooms, we went to Times Square for dinner.

When my client signed up the New York day tour, this New York 2 Hour Semi Circle Manhattan Cruise was included. The 2 hours tour includes sailing down the Hudson and cruise around the Battery and up the East River.
The Brooklyn Bridge

Then it will cruise through the Brooklyn Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Completed in 1883, it connects Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. …

The Central Park, Manhattan, New York, USA
This is another important landmark on Manhattan, New York. I have never seen such a huge park in a city of such scale. I spotted the Central Park at the top of Rockefeller Center. The huge park covers more than 843 acres and it has an annual visitor of 25 million visitors. 25 million visitors is almost the size of Malaysia’s population. This was my experience visiting the park a few years ago and this week I’m clearing off all my New York backlogs.

Central …

The Statue Of Liberty, New York, USA
We have seen it so many times on TV. It is one of the most popular and important icon of New York. It is no other than the Statue of Liberty. During my trip to New York, I managed to see the Statue of Liberty on the cruise. The cruise tour I joined was a sight-seeing tour.

It was a very windy chilly afternoon. I met a Canadian couple on the cruise and had a lengthy chat with them. I was mainly promoting Malaysia for …

Wall Street, New York, USA
I have a few more posts in my draft box for years and this is the time to post it up. This week will be all about my New York trip a few years ago.

It was a cold April spring. I was in New York City for a work assignment for a few days. During the last few days, we had time to tour around. Wall Street was one of the tour destinations.

Included in many local tours, Wall Street is famous to be the home of …

Hershey’s Times Square Review, New York City, USA
One of the main attractions of Times Square New York. Seriously its hard to miss this. I mean the Hershey’s Times Square. Located at the opposite of M&M World Times Square, the building can be visibly seen from far.

Picture taken from my last visit there in 2004.

Hershey’s is the largest chocolate manufacturer of North America. Trust me, the store has everything, especially my favourite, Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate. Lots of selections, lots of choices.
A must visit place in Times Square New York.

A Walk at the Tragic 9/11 Site: Ground Zero at World Trade Center Path Station, NYC

Should I jump in joy? I found most of my old travel pictures in one of my external hard drive. My trip to New York City in 2007  was a memorable one. One of the places that was significantly unforgettable was the Ground Zero site at the World Trade Center Path Station.

Please bear in mind the pictures are taken in April 2007. We reached Ground Zero around 4-5 pm that day. Yet, …

Best Western President Hotel New York Review

My trip to New York was memorable. I stayed at Best Western President Hotel which is just a block away from the beautiful Times Square. It is located at 234 West 48th Street, in between 7th and 8th avenue. Times Square is located at the 7th Avenue so the hotel is perfectly near and it is just opposite Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Do not expect anything spectacular on this hotel. The design and décor is a bit old and it is just next to a Chinese …

Macy’s Herald Square, NYC: The Largest Departmental Store in the World
The moment when the yellow cab stopped in front Macy’s, the first impression was the lovely pre-war building located the Herald Square. It was a chilly spring morning and the store was well decorated with flowers and trees. It was nicely done, as passerby would stop and took pictures of the decorations.

We were in a rush, browsing through the store and to my surprise, there was another block attached with it. It is huge in size, I had never seen …

Toys ‘R Us, Times Square, New York City: A Must Visit Place!
It is one of the most notable structure in Times Square, New York City. It was Spring 2007 and I was there for a few days work trip.
