Sanam Chandra Palace, Ya Le Statue and Chali Mongkhon At Residence, Thailand
2 min readNext was the Ya-Le Monument. A brief of introduction:
Ya-Le Monument, is a monument to Ya-Le, a cross breed dog, who was King Vajiravudh’s favourite and always accompanied him. One day Ya-Le was shot dead by an envious man. The king commanded a monument be constructed as his commemorative in front of Chali Mongkhon At Building in the compound of Sanam Chan Palace. – Thaiwebsites.com
For a King to love his dog so much, Ya Le must be an extraordinary dog. For Ya Le!
Me in front of the unique building.
Next to it was the Chali Mongkhon At Residence. Another unique building.
Thank god, the sky was clear blue. Managed to grab a few good shots. Loved them!
