We Ate 20 Items at Restoran Dragon One, SS2, Petaling Jaya
3 min readSweet dumplings with salted egg yolk. Make sure you don’t spill the filling when you bite it.
Stir fried vermicelli with minced pork @ RM 6.80. Interesting enough, the vermicelli (mee hoon) was as stick as noodle. I guess the word unique is common in Dragon One.
Shanghai layer cake with custard @ RM 4.20. The cake was soft and smooth.
Avacado with Kataifi @ RM 5.00. This is a must try. I tried the same thing before at one of our local 5 stars hotel but double the price. The crunchy and crispiness of the outer layer blended well with the avacado filling.
Shanghainese Style La Mian (Ramen) with crab roe @ RM 8.80.
Their top star, the durian pancake @ 4.60 for 2 pieces. Amazingly tasty. Fillings were genuine durian combination with cream. For durian lovers, you shall not miss this.
In general, the food ranging from decent to good. Food presentation was competitively equal with hotel’s level and the pricing is reasonable. Service was okay (since it was a food review) and the place was well air conditioned. I wouldn’t want to rate this as this was an invitation. But the truth was, I did went back for the durian pancake.
