2 min readI was invited for the Wendy’s Wrap & Roll Media Launch at Sunway Pyramid on 1st October. Thank you Wendy’s Malaysia and PR Company for the invitation.
Wendy’s® in Malaysia is operated by Berjaya Group subsidiary, Wen Berjaya Sdn Bhd. The first local Wendy’s restaurant is was officially opened on April 5, 2008 at Sunway Pyramid, Selangor. An additional seven (7) outlets were subsequently opened at IOI Mall Puchong, Jaya One, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Mont’ Kiara, Giant Kota Damansara, Aeon AU2 and Berjaya Times Square. It is Wendy’s marketing plan to open a total of 70 Wendy’s® in Malaysia by 2017.

The VIPs couldn’t resist it either. They had it on the spot!
I prefer the spicy wrap n roll than the original taste. More crispy and more juicy. The original taste is more dry but healthier. Chicken was tender, Wendy’s only use fresh chicken for the menu.
Salad shaker was a combination of fresh and healthy greens. Likewise, they used only fresh greens for their salad.
My favourite still their Shrimp Burger, LOVE IT!
The Wrap and Roll is priced at RM5.50 on the a la carte menu but for a complete meal, Wendy’s customer can opt to trade up to a Wendy’s Shake, Wrap & Roll combo meal which comes complete with a Salad Shaker and a Carbonated Drink (S) of their choice for only RM10.10!
Customers may also opt for French Fries instead of the Salad Shaker as at Wendy’s; it never costs extra to shuffle ’em up any way you want.

i find that the soft-serve ice cream (whatever they call it … smoothie?) and jacket potatoes are good. the burgers not so.

No wonder I didn’t know about this restaurant. It’s not available at the 2 malls I visit ofter, 1 Utama and Mid Valley Megamall.
