As the second largest city of Argentina, Cordoba is one of the first Spanish colonial capital of the region. Declared in 2000, as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, some buildings here are dated in range of hundreds of years old.

The Cathedral which is perhaps the most emblematic structure in the city of Cordoba. Cordoba is located at the north of Mendoza and east of Buenos Aires.

I wished that I explore more on Cordoba as the city is rich with history.

  3. I’m planning a trip to South America and have a month to give. The places I’m interested in are Peru, Chile, Argentina (including southern Argentina and Patagonia), an excursion to Antarctica (4-5 days) and southern Brazil. I understand this will involve a lot of traveling, I’m just curious, from experience, how much time I should try to spend in each place, and where to visit outside of the obvious (Buenos Aires, Santiago, ect.). Thanks!

  4. Hi there,

Excursion to Antarctica will take 11 days. I don’t think you have enough time for other countries if you are planning to visit Patagonia. It took me two weeks in Patagonia and one week in Buenos Aires.
