What did we have in Basin Café?

We had something off menu as it was pre-arranged by the Tourism Tasmania.

Salmon skewers with salad. Tasmania is popular with its seafood and there is no doubt on the freshness of the salmon.

Prawn skewers with salad. Did I mention that the salad is amazing?

Deep fried squid with salt and pepper. I always love this and this was deep fried to perfection. As easy as this dish looks, the crispiness of the squid will depends on the skill of the chef. This was addictive.

Sitting in café enjoying the view in a cold air conditioned room is the wonderful way to have your lunch in Launceston. It will be perfect with a cold Tasmanian beer.
