It has been a while since I posted any stories on my trip to Tasmania earlier this year. It has been almost five months after trip but yet there are still plenty stories and experiences to share. One of the highlights was the visit to the Honey Farm. Yes, there is a honey farm and they are popular with the Tasmanian Manuka Honey.
The Honey Farm in Chudleigh, located in between Hobart and Launceston.
The Honey Farm is a shop and it is located along the Sorell Street at Chudleigh. The store is not that huge but it is segmented to sections with different honey products.

Firstly the section of flavoured honeys, if you need some out of the box flavoured honeys, this is the place you can get some as souvenirs, gifts or for your own.

Manuka Honey has a well proven track record for it has unique healing properties and they collect a small amount of Manuka Honey and blend it with Propolis, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and Ginseng. It is the first time I hear honey blend with Ginseng but it didn’t taste any hints of Ginseng at all.
Ceci from Hong Kong loved the taste of the Tasmanian honey.
There were also other flavours available such as truffle, orange, hazelnut, cinnamon, stringy bark, cream blue gum, gum, leatherwood, clover and many more. We were definitely spoilt for choices.
You might find it weird but there are skin care products made from honey.
If you think you know much about honey, how about honey skin care products? Yes, pure Tasmania’s honey skincare products available in the store.

They have lip balms, lotion, shampoo, body soap, crèmes and many more. It is segmented to men care, baby care, foot care, hair care and many more. It is not just innovative but also practicality of using honey as a supplement for daily health care products.
There are also souvenirs and ice cream inside the store. If you are here, don’t go elsewhere to look for Tasmania honey products, this is as good as it can gets. I couldn’t recall seeing anymore honey related products sold in Hobart or Launceston. Get it there to avoid disappointment.

Lastly, if you are traveling in between Hobart and Launceston, you can drop by at The Honey Farm for honey tasting or for souvenirs. Honey is good for health so why not taking a pit stop there. Have fun and happy honey tasting!
