Chinese New Year Free Events in Sydney 2014

This year, Sydney is the number ONE on Forbes Travel Guide Blog’s round of the “Five Fabulous Destinations for Celebrating Chinese New Year”. Traveling on Chinese New Year has becomes a trend for many Chinese communities around the world especially in China. Taking the opportunity of the long holiday, many Chinese will travel around the world at this time of the year. I will be traveling to Sydney soon celebrating the last few days of Chinese New Year and I will be reporting live on my Facebook Page!

Sydney will be kicking off the Chinese New Year Festival in style from this weekend with a stunning twilight parade on Sunday 2 February at 8pm. There will events line up for the twilight parade which includes projection and fireworks!

Lions will dance through the floors of the Queen Victoria Building, which will be transformed to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
