If you follow the TV series Bondi Rescue on Nat Geo, you are watching real scenarios of the lifeguards at Bondi Beach. Thus, it is the reality version of “Baywatch” minus Pamela Anderson but they do have their own version of David Hasselholf. By the way, Hasselholf did turn up in one of their episodes on Bondi Rescue.
Dramas, hunks and hot girls aside, Bondi beach offers a spectacular view for photography but where is the best place?
Meet Bondi Icebergs Club. The club has a double deck swimming pools and restaurants overlooking the Bondi Beach. Founded in 1929, Bondi Icebergs Club offers one of Australia’s most famous winter swimming clubs.
On top of that, you should try their food in the restaurant too. Don’t worry as you won’t burn a hole in your wallet as I find their food prices are reasonable and they have substantial standard on their food’s tasting.
In my opinion, the best view of Bondi Beach is at Bondi Icebergs Club.

Yes Icebergs does boast of pretty amazing views! Great food too. I’ve yet to have a swim in that pool though.

The view from icebergs is excellent, especially when the winds are gusty, the wave heights topple over the pool, and the riptide is somethin’ awful fierce. 😉 I hope you also went to the “opposite side” to the lookout at Ray O’Keefe Reserve in North Bondi. I think early morning light on the creamy art deco colours along the promenade in Bondi is a little better from North Bondi.
