The best part of exploring different food places is you stumble upon onto a hidden gem. This is at Puchong Fatt Kee restaurant, located at 45-G, Jalan Bandar 1, parallel to Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong and directly opposite Tesco. If you drive past this restaurant, you can see it always packed so yesterday I decided to visit this restaurant.

There are a few stalls are doing exceptionally well and one of them is wantan mee (noodle). To see which are the better food stalls, you just need to look at the tables and see what do the customers ordered. When you order the wantan mee, you will be given a number and after a 20 min wait, I received my noodle. Instead of serving on a plate, they serve on a bowl. You can spot the white pepper on top of the noodle and the good looking char siew (BBQ caramelized pork belly). The taste is pretty good especially compliment with their delicious char siew. The char siew is cooked to perfection and the texture is soft. This bowl of wantan mee reminds me the famous Yulek wantan mee, both excel in serving awesome char siew. How much is this plate of awesomeness? The humble bowl of noodle is priced at RM5.00 (small). Will I go back there again? Yes for the food but have to be patient for the serving time. Sometimes you don’t need to pay much for good food.
