If you are in Tayton View Cheras and craving for fish ball noodle, you should head to Restoran Jin Man. I am not sure why it is called Jin Man (most likely a person’s name) and I am sure they are not related to Batman or Superman.

The restaurant is located at 71, Jalan Dato Haji Harun, a row of shop lots in the old residential area of Tayton View. The restaurant opens for lunch hour and usually it is close around 4 to 5 pm.

You won’t get anything complicated food than their fish ball noodle. If you order the dry noodle, it comes with pork lard and a bowl of fish ball soup. Fish maw is additional. Many of their customers are loyal customers for years and you can see bowls of fish balls in each and every single table. The fish ball is fresh and tangy texture while the noodle is simply ordinary.

Another crowd favourite is the deep fried fish cake. This home made fish cake is deep fried to perfection with crispy outer layer and many will come to order to take away this or order this as side dish.

If you plan to visit this restaurant, remember they open for brunch till late lunch and sometimes parking can be frustrating. This is non-halal and non air conditioned restaurant.
