Signature at The Roof’s Christmas Dinner Special Menu

Christmas is right around the corner and are you planning for a special Christmas Dinner with your loved ones? If you have not booked any restaurants yet, you should check Signature at The Roof.

Recently, we were invited to review their Christmas Dinner Special Menu. The special dinner menu comes with choice of ONE MAIN and enjoys sumptuous soup-salad-dessert BUFFET spread with a live station of slow-roasted turkey!

After dinner, enjoy complimentary entry with 1 drink at Stratosphere at The Roof, Asia’s 1st grassed helipad bar to catch fireworks display! Now, that is the way to celebrate Christmas with your partner or loved ones.

So what do they have for their Christmas Dinner Special Menu?

The cocktail is the combination of Macadamia syrup, amaretto, red wine and rum. This taste like Christmas, it is sweet as joy and love the aromatic rum. We had a few of this cocktail.

Instead of the traditional pumpkin soup, their version comes with yellow onion, ginger, carrot and thyme. It is generally sweeter than the usual pumpkin soup with hints of the thread size ginger. Don’t you love colour of the golden colour pumpkin soup?

The nicoise salad comes with mix salad, mini French bean, quail egg and red tuna. It is well seasoned and how can you don’t love this?

There are four mains and we tasted all of them.  For Mains

The spinach and cheese ravioli is served with duck ragout in truffle & porchini sauce. Overall this is flavourful with hints of truffle and the ravioli is almost el dente.

The chicken roulade is stuffed with bell peppers, foie gras & cheese and served with truffle mash & cranberry sauce. The skin is crispy, well cooked and it goes well with the cranberry sauce.

The beef comes with creamy spinach & buttered prawn. We love this and it is well seasoned and the sauce didn’t overwhelm the taste of the beef. It was cooked to perfection at medium rare and this is delightful.

The cod served with seafood stew on a bed of nutmeg spinach. You can hardly go wrong with the cod except you under or over cooked it. The two big slices of cod is pan seared to perfection. We also love the freshness of the seafood.

Dessert

For desserts, we have fruits panna cotta. We always love the combination of panna cotta with fresh fruits.

We heard Signature at The Roof hired a new chef and we can taste the difference and also the improvement. We enjoyed the soup, salad and the dessert. For the mains, we prefer the beef and the cod fish and the rest is still enjoyable.

We often dined at Signature at The Roof because it is a good place to chill with nice ambiance. Thus, it located next to One Utama so it is convenient to dine there. Try their Christmas Dinner Special Menu and hope to hear some comments and feedbacks on this menu too.
