2.Food Island in MBK Center Facelift

We wrote aboout the Top 8 Food Courts in Bangkok and Food Island in MBK Center is one of them. MBK Center went through a huge renovation last year and the Food Island is one of the places they gave a facelift.

The Food Island is brighter now and each food stall is properly labelled. Chairs and tables are more organized and the payment center is prettier now.

It looks better after the facelift.
Stalls look more classy now.

In case you are wondering, did the food prices go up after the facelift? The answer is no. The food prices remain very reasonable and some of our favourite food stalls are still around.

This is our 2nd or 3rd round in Food Island MBK.

We totally respect the Thais and MBK for giving better value for customers without raising the food prices. In Malaysia, we have seen many food courts charging hefty food prices due to rise of space rentals. In Bangkok, most food courts maintain their food prices for years giving customers a good deal and also a crowd pulling highlight for their malls. That’s why we keep coming back to MBK Center after so many years.
