Where to find a good pork noodle (sam kan chong) in Cheras? We all know about the Imbi Road Pork Noodles at Win Hen Seng. The last time we went was a few years ago and we heard it getting pricier now. With its popularity and crazy high rental fees in Kuala Lumpur, it is not surprising the pork noodle at Win Hen Seng is getting pricier. So where is to find a good Sam Kan Chong in Cheras? One of our favourites is at Restoran Top Star in Taman Connaught Cheras.

They are located on the corner shop of Jalan Sarjana Taman Connaught (next to BHP petrol station) and next to Sushi Mentai. It is usually packed in the morning till afternoon. For the pork noodles, sometimes they will be sold out even before noon. It depends on the business but most people will order the pork noodle.

Sometimes you can find us here during weekends. We love to eat good food and they are selling at RM 6.00 for a bowl. The seller (uncle) is a nice person but you have to wait sometimes as he is the only person is cooking the pork noodles.

What we like about his version of san kan chong pork noodles is the flavour of the noodle as well as the generous amount of the minced pork as well as the pork sausage. The flavour is balanced and you can find one of the best pork sausage for san kan chong here. The pork balls are ordinary.

This is comfort food and despite there are not even a blogger blogs about this place, it is still popular. Most of the customers here are locals and from the neighbourhood. This is the hidden gem of Cheras and probably one of the best san kan cheong pork noodles in KL.
