Hello Kitty Gourmet Café Malaysia Officially Closed Down

Two years ago, fans of Hello Kitty rushed for the opening of Malaysia’s first Hello Kitty Gourmet Café in Sunway Pyramid. We managed to take some pictures of the café before the opening and you can read it HERE.

Sadly, Hello Kitty Gourmet Café has left us and they are officially closed down since end of last month. They left Malaysia with other popular food brands such as Tim Ho Wan, Tous Les Jous and Bulgogi Brothers.

Just for your information, Hello Kitty Gourmet Café closed down in less than two years and we wonder who is next?

Having restaurants in shopping malls are tough business. There are simply too many shopping malls in Klang Valley and with high rental and so much competition, many restaurants choose to close down to lessen the losses.

There are many new shopping malls coming up in Klang Valley and we wonder how many restaurants and retail owners can sustained their business. Tough times ahead for retail owners and restaurant owners.

Hello Kitty Gourmet Café is officially closed down and maybe they will come back again one day? Who knows? Thank you Hello Kitty Gourmet Café for the experience and you will be missed.
