What can you do in 8 hours? You can watch Captain Marvel 4 times. You can drive to Penang from KL and back. You can also fly to Japan from KL and it takes 8 hours. On Monday afternoon, a bus filled with Chinese tourists stuck for 8 hours on Tuas Link to Johor Bahru according to Oriental Daily.

Eight hours traffic jam on Tuas Link to Johor Bahru and we read that we need more tourists from Singapore. Singapore arrivals dropped 14.7% year on year in 2018 to 10.62 million according to TheEdgeMarkets. How can we improve our tourists arrival with there is 8 hours jam on Tuas Link from Singapore?

So rather than sitting in the bus for 8 hours, a group of middle aged tourists picked up their umbrellas and started dancing on the road. The video was captured by the tourist guide and posted on Facebook.

We might find the video humorous but what if it happened to us? Eight hours on the Tuas Link stuck in the bus?

If this is their first trip to Malaysia, this is a very bad impression on Malaysia. The heavy traffic was caused by school holidays in Singapore but eight hours is too much in our opinion.

The journey for the Chinese tourists from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur took 15 hours. They arrived at Kuala Lumpur at 3 am.

This is the reason why we are not a big fan of driving down to Singapore due to the traffic jam. We prefer to fly down if we have the budget.

Eight hours on Tuas Second Link and 15 hours journey to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore, we hope someone will look at this matter. If we are serious in making this country a tourist destination, there should be an improvement on this.

We had our similar experience last year when we travel from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. We left Berjaya Times Square at 8 am and we reached Marina Bay Terminal around 5 pm. It was tiring and exhausting.
