Happy Chinese New Year or Happy Lunar New Year everyone! The Chinese New Year celebration started this morning with the lights and sounds of the firecrackers and fireworks. Luckily, our boys slept through the fireworks and firecrackers session this morning. Since today it is the first day of Chinese New Year, we wanted to post a positive story to start this Year of Rat. Let’s check out the Chinese New Year Decorations at Emquartier Emporium Bangkok that I have taken last week.

There are many people are traveling during Chinese New Year. While many are traveling home to celebrate the new year, others are busy traveling to celebrate the holiday. Bangkok is one of the top destinations by many travellers during Chinese New Year every year as you can shop, eat, relax and chill. The shopping malls in Bangkok also celebrate Chinese New Year with decorations and sales.

This year, Emquartier Emporium Shopping Mall celebrates Chinese New Year with striking white and blue lanterns and bells decorations. The Emquartier Emporium Shopping Mall’s Chinese New Year celebration and sales will be happening from 15 Jan to 26 Feb 2020.

You can find the lantern walkway at the Emporium entrance to the BTS Station. You can easily spot the lantern walkway as many people are taking photos and selfies with the lanterns.

The lanterns turn red at night time and it offers a more Chinese New Year vibes.

For the white and blue bells, they are scattered around in Emporium and Emquartier Shopping Mall.

The huge floating white dragon art piece is located in Emporium Shopping Mall.
