Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea To Raise Ticket Prices

A quick update on the announcement made by Oriental Land Co., Ltd. On the ticket prices for Tokyo Disneyland and Disney yesterday. The ticket prices for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be raised effective 1^st April 2020. You can book it online too with Kkday at https://www.kkday.com/zh-tw/product/19252?cid=8500

This is the first increment of the ticket prices since April 2016. The increment of the ticket prices is for Tokyo Disney Resort to expand offerings in family entertainment experiences that guests from different generations can enjoy together. These enhancements include the opening of new facilities, upgrading of entertainment programs and introduction of new technology for guest convenience.

We spotted major construction in between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea last year and these could be for the ‘New Fantasyland’ featuring Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast attraction and the indoor Fantasyland Forest Theatre. The New Fantasyland is expected to open on 15^th April 2020.

The Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea ticket price increment will affect the adult and junior tickets, for Child (4-11 years old) the ticket price remains the same. For one day passport, the Adult ticket price will increase from 7,500 Yen to 8,200 Yen and the Junior ticket will increase from 6,500 Yen and 7,500 Yen.

We visited DisneySea twice and yet to visit Tokyo Disneyland. To be honest, we have no plans to revisit Tokyo this year but you never know what will happen. We visited Japan five times last year and we might visit Japan once this year.
